I liked The Lemonheads until they went major. I should really say that I love their album CREATOR. I saw them once while they were still a minor band. They did their cover of "Luca". I hated the original song, but their live version was friggin' amazing.
Bullet Lavolta was such a great band! Few bands knew how to use two guitarists as well as them!
Which brings me back to Al. First 3 guitar band? Have you never heard Molly Hatchet? Come on Al, I know you know of them. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

a very Boston based list-
"Bullet Lavolta" gravitated towards the unlikely Lemonheads camp. Core members became "The Juliana Hatfield 3", and recorded and toured on her first major label release( included the hit I hate "my sister" she's such a bitch)

Is Marcy Playground the band that did "Sex And Candy"? Is so, yeah, they sucked bigtime.
Of all the decades of RnR (1951 until now lets say), the 90's were by far the worst. The music in the 80's was decent, but the productions sucked (who needs anything but a tom, even for the snare and bass drum?). But the 90's were full of shit bands. The distortion of the word "Alternative" and the style that killed off the REM-like "College Rock". It got to the point where if somebody said something was "Alternative", I kept on walking.
Ugh, the 90's.

Not a patch on White Lion's 'Pride'.
I also liked 1 song from Sponge, and a couple from Blur. The rest, I either didn't know or didn't like.
